Personal Greeting I welcome you to this page and site. As a very private sort of person, I am loathe to post a lot of information about myself. However, I am experimenting with this page, as with all the others on this site, and will post more when I have decided what information to include. D.C. |

Statement of Philosophy: A realizable vision of the Web in which every individual has the power to publish requires something further: The individual must possess the basic skills of the Web and a general technological literacy both as critical reader and also as utilizer of the electronic, networked medium called the Internet. Developing web literacy skills in the non-tech, pre-digital individual is critical in our day and part of the reason I founded L-Internet Communications. Author's Bio In high school Mr. Cardone was politically active and aware. He was the winner of an essay contest for the Orange County Board of Realtors for which he delivered a speech to the Board. He was also involved in public speaking with the Youth in Government organization for which he won a trip to Washington D.C. to spend a weekend with then Congressman Benjamin Gilman. Later, he also won a day with Orange County Executive Louis Heimbach. Still later, while in college he worked as a Congressional intern in the office of then Congressman Hamilton Fish III in Washington D.C.. A former Libertarian, he is currently active in the California Republican Party. He holds degrees from The Johns Hopkins University, Regent University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication. He also attended Middlebury College's school in Italy for one year. He speaks, reads, and/or writes several languages. Foreign language and language in general has been a life long interest of Mr. Cardone's along with politics, photography, travel, foreign cultures, music, aquaria, technology, science, the arts, and history. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. He can be contacted through this web site via e-mail. |
