Via Toledo or Via Roma

Via Toledo - since the unification of Italy called "via Roma", even though most Neapolitans continue to call it "Via Toledo" recalling the Spanish Bourbons - is a pedestrian shopping street which leads to Piazza Dante, San Domenico Maggiore, Spaccanapoli and elsewhere. It's a nice afternoon or morning walk. The sidewalk is very wide and, the day I walked it, it did not seem crowded, until  I got to Piazza Dante. Of course, the tranquil portion of the passeggiata  is exactly the portion closed to all but foot traffic. A little before Piazza Dante, motor vehicles are permitted and so the chaos begins.

Costs a fortune, but I still bought a couple of pieces.
